Join Us
Membership allows you to play an active part in the GLADD community, including invitation to our socials, conferences, educational events and the opportunity to network with other LGBTQ+ medics and dentists from all over the UK in a friendly and supportive environment.
What can GLADD offer you?
As a member you will also receive monthly newsletters on our work, LGBTQ+ healthcare issues and upcoming events, as well as access to our mentoring programme and a friendly network of peers.
Who Can Join?
Though the majority of our members are doctors and dentists, this is not exclusive. Membership is available to medical and dental students, for which there is a vibrant and growing community. Associate Membership is also available at the discretion of the Executive Committee for anyone who makes a significant contribution to our work and aims.
Your Membership
We offer different levels of membership depending on where you are in your career; Qualified, Foundation and Student. A reduced membership rate is also available to those in financial hardship.
Qualified membership is £40 a year
Foundation membership is £20 a year
Student membership is £10 a year
Each membership level is paid annually by Direct Debit.
Please contact us if you are in financial hardship to discuss reduced rate membership.
You can choose your membership level and set up your direct debit after creating your GLADD account
Recommend a Friend
We are happy to award £20 of Amazon vouchers for each new Qualified member that existing members recruit. To claim, forward the proposed new member’s name and contact details to our administrator at admin@gladd.co.uk.
